Synopsis:

Nick is a Scotsman who has two passions: soccer and his friends. Nick usually goes out with Tony, his best friend, co-worker and teammate. One Saturday, they meet Karen and Paula, and Nick and Karen begin a romantic relationship. Everything is going spectacularly until Nick starts having some physical problems, like missing easy goals on the soccer field and losing his balance, which end up changing his life forever. The problems alienate him from his soccer team, his relationships are affected and his life is transformed. His relationships with his friends are no longer as intense as they were before and, thinking that the disease will affect his relationship with Karen, he decides to distance himself from her in all possible ways. Karen begins to try to figure out what is happening to Nick and finally discovers that he has Multiple Sclerosis. The love she feels for him saves their relationship and Nick finds renewed hope in his life, happily sharing his life with Karen.

Synopsis:

It is in this rural world that we meet a Multiple Sclerosis patient who is beginning to notice that his mobility is becoming limited. Despite all of his problems, he continues fighting the progression of his disease.

In addition, while he is suffering from the disease, he is always accompanied by his friends, from the owner of a small cattle ranch to two old ladies who can still remember the bombs from the war (Ramona and Amada), as he lives his life in a retirement home in a small town. He and all of his friends share a great strength when facing adversity.
